Fruitland Wastewater Treatment Plant - Fruitland, Idaho
JC Constructors built a new mechanical wastewater treatment plant for the City of Fruitland to allow the City to satisfy their NPDES permit limits and abandon outdated aerated lagoons. The project consisted of 60,000 cy of excavation, 6,500 cy of structural concrete, five CMU buildings, and five lift stations, as well as significant mechanical and piping improvements. The project required in-water work in the Payette River and as well as an irrigation canal. Sediment control necessary for excavation dewatering was a key measure to assure JCC complied with EPA's Construction General Permit. The project was completed over eighteen months. The project cost was $15.1 M.
